Nicholas Doyle is a Project Director at Places for People, one of the UK’s largest property management and development companies. He is also a non executive Director of a UK solar thermal manufacturer and a non executive Director of the National Communities Resource Centre
He has worked in housing for 20 years and has been responsible for a wide range of energy and environmental initiatives nationally and internationally that includes new developments, existing communities, corporate action and national research. He has chaired a number of Groups including Social Housing at the Energy Efficiency Partnership for Homes, a Chair of the UK Microgeneration Strategy Consultation in 2010, Consultant and Advisor to the Technology Strategy Board Retrofit for the Future programme, a Chair of the National Housing Federation Green Deal Task Group and a founder member of the Existing Homes Alliance. He was named Green Social Housing Champion in 2011.
More recently working on a range of projects including the creation of financing and energy service models for existing and new communities and the development of Green Services businesses.
